The Next Step Basketball Talented Athlete Program (TAP) has been developed as a way to help identify, motivate and recognise talented athletes who have produced outstanding results or looking to take the next step in pursuing their sporting dreams. Each sponsorship program is valid for a 12-months.
The sponsorship program is separated into a variety of options and levels depending on the Athlete:
Example: Sponsorship for Financial / Equipment / Training Services / Professional Services / Other;

Selection criteria
To be eligible for selection, athletes must:
- Be aged 13-years or over - Have no other training partner or similar sponsor (Note: Under 18 Athletes will require Parental Permission)
The Selection Process
The Selection Panel will decide on successful athletes based on the following set of criteria:
- Level of representation; - Notable achievements; - Community involvement; - Current/ future goals; - Fit with Next Step Basketball Mission & Values;
